In the Billing Menu in IBIS there are Activation and Deactivation billing-only functions. The ‘billing only’ is specifically mentioned as these functions are for subscription creation and cancellation only, without any provisioning involved.
An activation, in this case a creation of a subscription for a non-provisionable device in IBIS will end up in this screen either via the Activation button in the device screen or via the Billing menu [Activation (billing-only)]. There is no reference to provisioning in this screen.
The features can also be used for bulk creation of subscriptions. In the Cards/Devices section multiple devices can be added to create subscriptions, for one customer and one price plan at once.
The Deactivation billing-only feature can be used for bulk deactivations – end-dating subscriptions – with no limitations of number of devices.
