iVent – Price plans

iVent price plans – general information on the creation of price plans is available here: Create Price Plan. For iVent traffic, please note that traffic is counted in GiB, where 1 GiB is 1024 x 1024 x 1024 Bytes

A priceplan is generic and can apply to one or more customers and multiple terminals
A subscription is the application of a priceplan on an iVent SIM card with a start and end date.

There are different price plan types: iVent uses the Single SIM subscription

iVent types of allowance:

Allowance in GiB
Allowance in USD
No allowance (pay as you go)

iVent regions:
Europe
North America
Multi Region
Global

The priceplans are constructed as one list, with both the region and the allowance in the name.

Elements that must be included when creating a new price plan for iVent:

The name should follow the iVent naming structure with region and allowance type/size
Whether the price plan is available for all customers, or only for select customers (for example for demo plans)
Whether the price plan can be activated by end users or not (again, for example for demo plans)
Vendor Rate Plan: determines the iVent region, this should be reflected in the price plan name
Subscription fee per month
Allowance per month in USD or GiB (if applicable)
Pricing rules: price per GiB – in bundle price only, out of bundle set to 0
Pricing rules: price per country (Global plan only)

Monitoring

For generic monitor and alerts information, please refer to General – create and edit traffic monitors

After saving the price plan, an iVent monitor has to be set up on the price plan. This follows the generic iVent Terms and and Conditions. For Inmarst, for example this is that an alert is sent when 20% of the bundle is left, and that the SIM card is suspended when the bundle has been used up. Please note to tick the auto resume, which will ensure that at the start of a new billing period, a new allowance is granted and any suspensions will be lifted.
