In order to provision Inmarsat Data Pro terminals, the following details are required:
- ICCID – In the case of IDP this is the terminal number, this is used in IBIS to retrieve the terminal information information
- Product that the terminal is enabled for – in ISIP this is always IDP
- Inmarsat Provisioning Account
Once the IDP terminals have been received/assigned, they have to be uploaded in IBIS. This is done individually or with a spreadsheet with the terminal details, see Upload SIM Card Details for the generic overview on how to do this.
In addition, the following needs to be in place:
- The customer is set up correctly, if not, go to the customers page and set up the customer
- A terminal which has the status “assigned” or “deactivated”
- Confirmation of the end user of the requested subscription, if required
- Information on any monitoring required
- Optional: Name or cost center of the card
- Optional: Email address for notification of the end user
