The Tiered Static Pool Price Plan can be used to create an Inmarsat IsatHub Tiered Pool or BGAN SCAP 2020.
The plan set up gives the details for the individual SIM subscription and the Pool Allowance subscription. The plan is a SCAP but the subscription allows for 1 SIM maximum as it will create individual SIM subscriptions linked to a Pool Allowance Subscription.
The first SIM activation on this plan will create the Pool Allowance subscription and an individual SIM subscription. In contrary to adding SIMs to a Static Subscription SCAP where it is required to select the subscription where the SIM is added to, any following SIM activation on this plan will automatically belong to the Pool subscription.
The invoice will reflect a subscription fee per device and a pool subscription fee. The pool fee will show 0 devices pool as the devices are linked to the pool subscription to share allowance but they are not part of the subscription itself, in contrary to a static or a dynamic subscription.
Each BGAN SCAP 2020 therefor requires its own price plan. A price plan for a Tiered Static Pool can not be used to create subscriptions for multiple SCAP IDs.
