Health Checks

When this icon is visible on the IBIS homepage it means there are Health Checks failing and action is required.

IBIS comes with a standard set of Health Checks that monitors the performance of several key functions in IBIS: Provisioning orders, CDR mediation and CDR rating. Every Health Check has a threshold, for example it is expected that there are no provisioning failures (<1), the monitor will go off when a provisioning failure occurs and an alert email is sent to the assigned recipients in the Health Check.

The Health Checks provide detailed information and instructions in the alert email. This will give the recipient of the alert email better insight of the alert and what actions need to be taken. The Health Check feature also has more options to create additional checks if required in the future.

We have added two new standard security checks, failed log-in attempts and log-in lockouts. These will alert you on possible unauthorized access to the IBIS platform.

Depending on your IBIS modules, the following Health Checks are implemented:

  • Provisioning failures
  • Failed log-in attempts
  • Log-in lockouts
  • Limited POP IP address availability
  • Mediation sources without recent traffic files
  • CDR file mediation errors
  • CDR rating delays
  • E-mail failures
  • MSIDN stock levels
  • Prepaid voucher levels

Please note: Network services are not monitored in IBIS, these are monitored by our NOC and when required, a service notification will be sent to our customers.

You can view the Health Checks in the IBIS menu under Tools, where the email recipients are also displayed. If you require a change in email recipients, please create a support ticket with the request details.
