Iridium Fair Use Policy for Certus 100

• Every session is rated in one of the following ways:
  1. Actual Message Payload
  2. Minimum Session Size – 5KB
  3. Time-Based Minimum Session Size – (300 bytes * call duration in seconds)
• If the session is 300 seconds or less, then the session will be the greater of the minimum session size (5KB) or actual message payload
• If the session is greater than 300 seconds, then the session will be the greater of 300 bytes times the call duration in seconds or actual message payload

 

This policy can be applied to a Certus price plan in IBIS by selecting the increment policy:

Background IP CDRs with a duration greater than 300 seconds will have a minimum applied of 300 bytes per second of the duration of the session; in all other cases minimum of use and increment of the pricing rule is applied.
